When selecting a physician or an attorney, one usually verifies their credentials to make sure that particular professional is qualified for the job, correct?  Ok, we can take it down a notch or two.  When selecting a photographer or a nanny, it's pretty important to make sure those professionals are qualified as well. Agreed?
